We provide counselling services for Children, Individuals, Couples and Families. We believe that too much of our time is spent dealing with life struggles and hardships.

We help individuals cope with the stresses in their daily lives. We use various clinical approaches such as cognitive and Dialectic behavioural therapy, which has been proven to be effective in changing thought patterns and behaviours overtime.

In todays society many of our children are struggling with behavioural management, social skills, and maintaining positive peer groups. We help children build their self-esteem, which translates into them feeling that they can accomplish more in life.

As families struggle to maintain a positive environment, in which to raise their children, we provide each individual in the family with tools to help them foster and strengthen their family units. A systemic therapeutic approach is used to reach this goal.

Services offered and Treatment Approaches

Behavioural Management for children, ADHD, Depression, Family Counselling,  and Individual counselling.

Solution-Focused Therapy

Solution-focus therapy focuses on the present circumstances and future goals. Strategies to reach that goal is discussed.  This approach is brief and works well with people in Child Welfare and of domestic violence situations.

Structural Family Therapy

Structural family therapy addresses the interaction between family members that create problems within the family. The focus is on changing the families structure rather than the individuals.

Trauma-focused therapy is counselling that help those who are going through post-traumatic stress disorder and other difficulties caused by traumatic life events.

Dialectical (DBT)

Dialectic therapy is widely used to address issues of Suicidal ideations, and other self destructive behaviours, by changing negative thinking.

Cognitive Behavioural (CBT)

Cognitive behavioural therapy teaches children and

adults skills for coping with anxiety,  stress and depression, by helping them to think positively.

The strengths-based approach focuses on someone's internal strengths to emphasize self-determination. Allowing them to see their ability to create change.
